An OVID search of the MEDLINE® database was conducted on November 6, 2002. Filters and limitations were used to eliminate inappropriate publications, with inclusion and exclusion criteria developed to identify articles to be reviewed. The search used applicable MeSH headings and textwords with appropriate Boolean operators. After filtering irrelevant publication types (such as publications not containing original clinical data), the search resulted in 959 citations for download and screening.

c.-à-d. qu'ils font des recherches sur mots clés et sur les entêtes - vous savez sûrement qu'une recherche sur Google, par exemple, peut donner des entêtes qui "semblent correctes" pour ce qu'on cherche, mais que le texte et les mots-clés ne sont pas du tout ça - ou vice versa - le texte est OK mais l'entête ne semble pas du tout couvrir ce qu'on cherche
