A book about Genesis and the Creation/evolution debate
I am always encouraged in evangelism by the parable of the Great Supper (Luke 14:15–24). The Lord says to the servant to bring in the poor, maimed, halt and the blind to the feast, and the servant says (verse 22), ‘Master, it is done …and still there is room’. Then the Lord says to his servant (verse 23), ‘Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled’. It is undoubtedly true that none can ever come unless the Lord touches men and women to turn from sin; thus John 6:44, ‘No man can come to Me, unless the Father who sent me draws him’. Nevertheless, we should ***plead with***, pray for and long for others to come.
