I think this must be a "fly-by-night" firm, but I can't find the term and would be grateful for confirmation or otherwise.

Спустя два месяца после регистрации права они получили исковое заявление от сторонней компании (первого собственника помещения) о признании недействительным договора купли-продажи и возврата этого помещения собственнику, так как данное помещение якобы было незаконно у него отобрано в результате рейдерского захвата. В ходе судебного заседания выяснилось, что фирма-продавец (у которой было приобретено помещение) является ***фирмой-однодневкой***, и от нее в суды никто не являлся.

I translate this Russian term as bogus company. This is a colorable firm set up exclusively for tax evasion or other frud. It can actually live for years, but in Russia such firms are traditionally called "odnodnevka"
