agree Sormane Gomes : Absolutely correct. It is 'pain and suffering'. If this is for the US 'moral damage' is NOT used in this case.

agree Donna Sandin : I was sharply criticized for using "moral damages" on one occasion. Everyone has told me it is "pain and suffering" - "emotional distress" might be a good way around this. I go for "hazards" rather than "risks" however. And "emotional distress" might be

future damages arising from occupational hazards

Pela definição de dano moral do dicionário jurídico De Plácido e Silva (dano que fere não os bens patrimoniais propriamente ditos, mas os bens de ordem moral, referentes à liberdade, à honra, à pessoa ou à sua família. A indenização deve-se à perda efetiva conseqüente da ofensa moral ou dos lucros cessantes advindos do fato ilícito) em comparação com a definição de future damages do Black's Law Dictionary (those sums awarded to an injured party for, among other things, residual or future effects of an injury which have reduced the capacity of an individual to function as a whole man, future pain and suffering, loss or impairment of earning capacity, and future medical expenses)parece-me que é o que mais se aproxima, embora não sejam idênticos.
