This part of a book on the history of chocalate has been talking about the use the matate or millstone for grinding chocolate and about the cedazo used for sifting. This isn't talking about laundry is it????

Marina, I hadn't thought to interpret it like that, but it seems pretty clear, doesn't it, since I was just working with the part on using a sieve to separate the cacao bean shells. |
