Trados Workbench won't analyse/clean/translate - what can I do?

Hi to you all!
I wonder if you can help me out. Trados Workbench is giving me trouble. I thought if I took the time to uninstall and reinstall it would work but I finally got round to it and that didn't make the slightest difference. I'm using Trados 5.5 freelance and Windows XP. When I choose analyse, clean or translate from the tools menu, select the files and start the process, workbench tells me
"(50104): Folder does not exist, was moved or renamed (path to the folder)"

Of course it's not true and it doesn't matter which path I choose I still get the same message. I'm cleaning up from inside Word at present but it's still annoying. Any suggestions?
