Report from  Sarah Appleby (X)
This was the biggest Nottingham powwow so far so many thanks to everyone for taking time to join us at Shaw's for an entertaining afternoon.
A special mention to Dierk and Lizzie for introducing the beautiful new 'Anglo-German project' to us and many congratulations. I shall keep 200 Browniz in the bank for Miss Wiedemann!
Happy holidays when they get here and keep a look out for the next powwow which will be held in early 2009.
Best wishes,
Sarah

Jan 19 '09  chaplin: powow 22 Feb
What a good idea! is the day right? The 22 is a Sunday. Usually they take place on Saturdays.
Jan 19 '09  Heather Lane: New Powwow!
OK guys, the New Year is upon us and I'm sure we've all got holiday stories to share and people we'd like to catch up with... which is why the new Powwow is being held on 22 Feb.
I look forward to seeing you all again there! Heather
Dec 2 '08  Mattijs Warbroek: Bedankt!
I had a good time as well, and it was lovely to meet Lydia. I vaguely recall singing before I left, even though I didn't have that many... If anyone is still wondering about our crazy Dutch ways, you can find more info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinterklaas. Happy holidays!
Dec 1 '08  Olesya Francis: Many thanks
It was great to spend a cold afternoon in a cosy company combining it with some shopping in Nottingham :-). Warm welcome to Lydia! Thanks, Sarah, for another enjoyable powwow! Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all!
Dec 1 '08  chaplin: Great it was just great
As it was cold I did not feel like going out but it was well worth it. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer. Thanks again to Sarah
Dec 1 '08  nordiatext: Thanks for including me!
I was pleased to be able to join even if it was for a short while (or looong as my daughter was moaning afterwards). I hope to be able to join without kids the next time. In the meantime, have a lovely Christmas.

Dec 1 '08  Heather Lane: Thanks & great to see you all
Thanks indeed Sarah for organising this powwow. I had a lovely time and it was nice to see such a large group of friendly faces. Lovely location too! I've added the photos I took, so hopefully you should be able to view these soon. All the best everyone. Have a great Christmas and New Year, and see you at the next event!
Dec 1 '08  Frances Warburton: Thanks
Thanks Sarah for organising yet another lovely powwow - great to see familiar faces, meet new faces and to meet Lydia. Have a great Christmas everyone and see you in the New Year.
Dec 1 '08  Dierk Widmann: It was lovely
Thank you so much for making our day out with Miss Widmann a success. I shall discuss profile matters with her. Have to see if Babyish is a language option. Looking forward to my next Powwow in the Summer!
Dec 1 '08  Languageman: A good day out in Nottingham
Good to meet so many friendly faces, old and new and very new - I think Lydia must surely have a claim on being the youngest PowWower ever! She definitely needs a profile so she can start collecting KudoZ :) Have a great Christmas all.
