Hello,

I am using Studio 2009 with TM and Multiterm. Translation works fine but when I try to use Multiterm for entering terms during translation (in the window "Termbankansicht") I get the Java Runtime Error.

My Computer System is Windows XP, Build 2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.100427-1636 _ Service Pack 3

Strange is that I used the Termbase with this project for entering terms until two days ago and it worked fine.

May be someone can help as it is a very useful tool in large projects when terminology consistency is required.

Thank you and best regards,

Susanne

Could you please check the Java settings? Aug 20, 2010

Control Panel - Java - and Advanced (Erweitert)
In "Allow next generation plug-in" ("Plug-in der nächsten generation zulassen") check please, if it is activated. If yes, deactivate it.

Java Run Time Error next generation has been deactivated already Aug 20, 2010

as I had a problem with Java and Multiterm (2007) before, this checkbox is alreay deactivated but it seems with 2009 it doesn't help

May be you have another idea?

As Jurek suggested.
It worked for me but I needed also to change other settings
http://www.proz.com/forum/sdl_trados_support/177787-multiterm_issue_circus_java_runtime_environment_cannot_be_loaded.html

Multiterm is completely unpredictable, so the working settings may may be dfferent for every machine.

Cheers
GG
