Hey guys

The end of an illustrious era is at hand. XTM Editor (i.e. the old XTM browser-based editor, the one with in-place fuzzy match display, pleasant colours, and predictable segment positioning) is being phased out. Soon the only option available will be XTM Workbench (i.e. the new XTM browser-based editor, with its edge hugging panes, squint promoting colour scheme, and patented "Surprise me again!" segment scrolling technology). It's happening... it's happening... soon.

I admit that it took quite a while for me to get used to the old XTM Editor, and there were always little complaints, but eventually it proved itself to be reasonably reliable, predictable, and (at least as far as web-based CAT tools go) relatively productive. The new XTM Workbench is a downgrade. Fortunately, the XTM product team have shown themselves to be responsive, so let's hope for better times to come.
