English term

sentence

English Other Linguistics
it's the same certificate from Harvard:

The President and the Members of Harvard Collelge, with the approval *[or better: consent?] of honorable examiners, during a solemn assembly *(ceremony?)

admitted XXX to the grade pf M.A. in Law and gave* him (granted?) all the signs and rights which are due to this grade

Thans in advance to the native speekers for a proofreading: it must be a very official form, of course

Jessica is right. Please post each term or phrase separately.

The President ... with the endorsement of the honorable ... ceremony ... to the degree ... granted

Note - it has to be "degree" not "grade" - M.A. is a degree

Also "sign" is wrong - usually on degrees we talk about "right and privileges"
