In financial jargon, do we say "1H" for premier semestre, in a table showing the financial results? I know we say Q1 for first quarter. Plus, when the figure in French is "-0.5 million", do we generally write it as a loss in English. I know that in tables you can put "(0.5 million)to show the negative amount.

This is what I have seen. In text however, you would use first 6-month period or first 6 months. Hope this helps.
