more context from wild things 2 01:00:11,880 --> 01:00:13,359
What the hell was that?

668
01:00:13,560 --> 01:00:14,993
I didn't hear anything.

669
01:00:17,600 --> 01:00:20,433
All right, missy, you get
in the back seat of the car.

670
01:00:20,600 --> 01:00:24,036
Come on, get in the back seat
of the car. Move! Now!

671
01:00:59,400 --> 01:01:02,676
Maybe you could just give me
a jump.

672
01:01:04,680 --> 01:01:06,671
Fine.

673
01:01:39,680 --> 01:01:41,671
Shit.

674
01:01:44,000 --> 01:01:45,274
Where are you?

675
01:01:45,480 --> 01:01:47,072
That was so fucking close.

More context, please. Maybe the main title, or summary of what the subtitle refers to.

rob someone or jump-start a car with a dead battery

Not enough context to be sure. It can mean either and there are more possibilities.
Peer comment(s):

agree Kurt Porter : great minds think alike! :) Hi, gotta run and get ready for work. Have a great day!...."jump" also slang for just beat up...don't have to rob too, but that is possible.

Thanks Kurt, always a gentleman.
agree Refugio : I think it is the car, otherwise it would probably say "jump somebody".

Thanks, Ruth, I thought of that, too and then thought perhaps the writer is not expert in English slang.

Give new life to...give a charge/stimulus

Hard to tell without more context. In American slang, "give a jump" or "jump a car" means that you are using your own car's battery to recharge someone else's car battery (via jumper cables).
