Während es in kleineren Computernetzen mit einigen wenigen Rechnern leicht möglich ist, „Turnschuhadministration“ zu betreiben, würde es in großen Netzwerken mit mehreren hundert oder sogar tausend Rechnern Tage dauern, die gleiche Aufgabe auf diese Weise zu bewältigen.

Le terme semble relativement répandu en allemand... une idée en français ? Merci d'avance !

Explanation:
"Turnschuhadministration" vient des fameux "Adidas" et veut dire que l'on passe son temps à courir d'un poste PC à un autre pour transférer des données (sur disquettes à l'époque) ou pour actualiser un carnet d'adresse..... on use ses chaussures et on a vraiment besoin de basquettes pour affronter ce parcours.

So behält der Administrator stets den Überblick über vorhandene Geräte, die sich zudem per Mausklick aktualisieren sowie einund ausschalten lassen.
