hypocritical mindset
This is a common phrase meaning much the same thing as "double standards" but, in my view, fits the Polish original more literally and might work much better depending on the context.

Example sentence:
They excluded them and forced them to obey laws that the Spanish Americans disagreed with. This seems like a hypocritical statement since the Spanish Americans seemed to have no problem with enslaving the Native populations and exploiting their land.
