Maquiladora/Maquila industry/Assembly plant

There's many along the US/Mexico border. I'm sure this must be in the glossaries.

maquiladora plant

Common in the automobile industry. (And in specific, slightly different, use in the charcuterie business, but I doubt this is your case!!).

For US English, I think you'll find that the Spanish term is very well established in English, and indeed I think it will also be fine for British English (I used to "translate" it but now leave it as it is.)

in-bond assembly plants

Just in case you want an "English" term for this - though, as they examples say, they are now frequently known as "maquiladoras" in English too.
Example sentence:

The most dynamic exporters in Mexico are in-bond assembly plants, known as maquiladoras.

The in-bond assembly industry in Mexico eventually grew to be known as the maquiladora program.

Peer comment(s):

agree Muriel Vasconcellos : This is the term used by the international organizations.
