English term
mobile phone retailers in the UK

Not strictly linguistic, this one :-)
I'd need one or two brand names of UK-wide retailers in mobile phones & accessories, specialising in mobile communications only and not affiliated with the large network operators.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot.

Carphone Warehouse
Way ahead of the rest and stresses its independence from the network providers.

Carphone warehouse is a well-established and visible high street chain, established (as its name suggests) in the days when car phones were first introduced, i.e. before mobile phones.
Apart from \"The Link\" (also on high streets and shopping centres and owned by a large electrical retailer) the other phone outlets are mostly network-owned or smaller regional players.

"We'll get the right phones for you!" says an annoying Paul Merton.
Pretty sure that they're not affiliated to anyone.
Grr.
