In the US, selective service or draft Papers are the documents a young man receives notifying him that he has been drafted into military service, i.e. that he must serve a period of time in the service. Currently there is no draft in the US. I think these papers would include the initial notification papers and then documentation showing that the military service was successfully completed and such information as the unit served in, training received, rank at time of discharge, etc.
