Hebrew term

במקום

Hebrew to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Financial statement
The is a sentence from a preface to the company's financial statement.
הדוחות הכספיים ערוכים בערכים נומינליים, במקום סכומים מדווחים כנדרש לפי תקן חשבונאות מספר 12.
The financial statements are presented in nominal values instead of reporting the sums in compliance with the standard No.12???
I'd like your opinion on the sentence, I'm not sure I understood it correctly.

Thanks in advance!

I didn't see Judith's answer (page open for a long time...). Her suggestion of rather than is also very good. And as you can see in my answer, she is right aboutn Accounting Standard 12 (sorry about the typo in mine - should be Standard without the s).
