Italian term
Bilico furgonato

I just opened another file to translate from Spanish and there are some Italian strings in there too! At least 3 of them contain the word "bilico" which Google translate says is "poised"... (sceptical face icon). I've sent it back to the client asking them to confirm the meaning, but while I'm waiting, maybe someone could fill me in on what "bilico" means here:
"...
Bilico a temp. controlada
Bilico furgonato
Bilico gran volumen
Bilico telonato/centinato
..."

lorry with covered body
In some cases in Italian you can say "bilico" for "articulated lorry".
The word "furgonato" refers to the covering, which is not a simple tarpaulin, but a rigid covering, like vans.

Cheers... there's light at the end of the tunnel now :) |
I don't remember, but I think I might have actually used this in the end, which is why I'm not making a glossary entry myself. Thanks for the info and links. |
