Hi
This text is about the terms and conditions of a company which provides national high-speed internet connectivity.
Is there a particular equivalent translation for this phrase in English?
Example from the text: "...augmentation de débit avec changement d’interface et sans changement de route optique..."
Thanks
Mark

Optic route
I am positive we use "route" and not "path", and i am fairly sure that the correct term would be optic route, although optic is normally seen with fiber, as in fiber optic cables.

: I don't think this scientific discussion is relevant to Asker's specific network context here; this is a quite different level and purpose, all about the way optical fibres work.

: the ST is about routing optic cables not that kind of "optic path"
