Letter grading system
I would stay away from the literal translation as it wouldn't mean much in an EN speaking country.
Since it's clear they use letter grading in this particular school, why not call it that ?

Conceptual Framework of Grades
It doesn't mean too much and sounds like typical Brazilian "flourish" to make something simple (a grading system) sound much more refined and well respected, but that's the literal translation. "Conceptual basis" (or framework) usually means a body of work that gives validity to a theory or idea.
A non-literal (and more honest) translation would be something like "Grade-based scoring system", but that is already conveyed in the preceding line and would be repetitive.

Just to clarify, by "body of work" and "works of CD and other naturalists" I mean their intellectual work, such as published papers on their findings or ideas expressed prior to the theory of evolution.

Example sentence:
the conceptual basis for the theory of evolution are the works of Charles Darwin and other naturalists.
