Cardiology - ECG report
This term shows up twice in an echocardiography report of a patient hospitalized for chest pain:
Estudio realizado en fibrilación auricular, con rectificación del segmento ST en V3-V6 basalmente.
En la ecocardiografía, basalmente no presenta alteraciones segmentarias de la contractilidad.
Fundamentally? Basically? Baseline? How do I fit the right word into these two sentences?
thanks for your help.

: The Spanish is rather obscure, but this is probably the best option in this context

Basal (count/analysis)
I am no medical expert but it is some kind of test on cells

For the baseline in an electrocardiogram, see isoelectric line.
A baseline in medicine is information found at the beginning of a study or other initial known value which is used for comparison with later data. The concept of a baseline is essential to the daily practice of medicine in order to establish a relative rather than absolute meaning to data. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baseline_(medicine)
if a patient with kidney failure (whose creatinine is usually 3.0 mg/dL) suddenly has a creatinine of 5.0 mg/dL, then his creatinine is out of his normal. - the same link

: The first one is related, as José states, to the isoelectric line. The second one seems to be about a time reference; whether before a study or procedure or the beginning indeed of an EKG is hard to tell with so little context. However, at baseline works
