German term

pro forma konsolidiert dargestellt

German to English Bus/Financial Accounting
Finanzdaten der xxx-Gruppe werden pro forma konsolidiert dargestellt.

What would be the natural way of saying "pro forma konsolidert dargestellt" in English?

Thanks.

presented on a pro forma consolidated basis

The xxx Group's financial data is presented on a pro forma consolidated basis.

Sometimes, the right answer is just to translate it as it comes :-)

Just search for "pro forma consolidated basis"

agree philgoddard : Pro-forma, with a hyphen, as it precedes "consolidated".

Please note that (unlike e.g. German) it's not customary to hyphenate Latin phrases in English, hence "pro forma", "ad hoc", "ex ante", etc. I know some people do this (often non-native speakers) but it's really unnecessary..

The consolidated pro forma ......... are presented.

'The Pro Forma consolidated financial details of xxx-group are presented.'
or
'The consolidated pro forma financial details of xxx-group are presented.'

I would change the sentence structure.

Pro Forma/pro-forma/Pro-forma

What is proforma in English?
The term pro forma (Latin for "as a matter of form" or "for the sake of form") is most often used to describe a practice or document that is provided as a courtesy or satisfies minimum requirements, conforms to a norm or doctrine, tends to be performed perfunctorily or is considered a formality.
