: This is how I understand it - especially with reference to other people´s expectations - risk of failure to live up to expectations in this context.

expectations achieved
"Forventningsafstemning" means that the expected results are achieved (de stemmer). The part of the sentence that says "det kan medfoere manglende " means that doing too much at once might result in your outcomes not being what you expect. So the sentence in its entirety warns that doing too much at once will result in expectations not being fulfilled. So the end result might be what Diarmuid has suggested, but that would be an interpretation of the entire sentence, not the single word asked about. The whole sentence might be something like --- doing too many things at the same time will result in some expectations not being fulfilled. (or something similar)

in light of some of the discussion here, I might suggest "achieving expectations" instead, though the language flow in Danish and English are somewhat different.

Discussion
The first would be equivalent to achieving expectations, the second would be comparing expectations, or making matched pairs or groups of them, i.e. high expectations versus low expectations
