Dutch term
TvA
Dutch to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
Court rulings
This abbreviation appears in a footnote that refers to a ruling of the Hof Amsterdam. The footnote states "Hof Amsterdam, date of ruling, TvA 2010, a number, and the name of the case and legal ground". Does anyone know what the abbreviation TvA stands for. I have the feeling the T might be Tijdschrift but am not quite sure.

@Phil - Various well-known and respected academic institutions mention TvA as the abbreviation for Tijdschrift voor Arbitrage, see for example:
http://www.ru.nl/ubn/bibliotheeklocaties/rechtsgeleerdheid/t...
Erasmus University also gives two other possibilities, see
http://www.esl.eur.nl/bibliotheken/sanders_bibliotheek/jurid...
I have suggested this one on the basis of the abbreviation being commonly defined this way on the websites of more than one reputable academic institution.
I will happily entertain the possibility that it might also stand for Tijdschrift voor Arbeidsrecht (which does exist), if you can give evidence backing this up but I haven't found any sites listing both the title and the abbreviation TvA in close proximity.
