Ik weet niet precies hoe 'elevation' vertaald moet worden, het is niet hetzelfde als 'uplift'(opheffing). Suggesties?

Het gaat hier toch gewoon om "hoogte"? De ouderdom van apatiet neemt toe naarmate de hoogte toeneemt.
