11. Warranty
11.1. The warranty for lamps and devices without lighting material is two years after completed delivery and is limited during this period of time to deficiencies proven to be the result of material, design or constructional flaws on the part of XXX .
11.2. Every further warranty or indemnity is excluded. In particular no costs for dismantling and reassembly of lamps and devices or their component parts or for consequential damages will be accepted.
11.3. Likewise no warranty will be met for material altered or repaired by the customer or a third party, or if assembly and operating instructions were not adhered to.
11.4. Lamps and devices manufactured in accordance with customer design or models are also excluded from warranty, where such damages can be attributed to constructional flaws. Moreover, should a test or modification be required by a test authority, all resulting costs are borne by the customer.
11.5. In general *every warranty service is based on the assumption that* the deficient material is dispatched to XXX freight paid.
