I am not really familiar with the entire text you are translating, but from the English word attach, which when translated in italian could mean 'to connect', hence collegamento, maybe this could be of help....what do you think?

Hai ragione: ho proprio sbagliato argomento e mi sono scusata con Cecilia. Sulla questione di tradurre, sfondi una porta aperta.. Io traduco tutto il possibile però a volte ci scontriamo con termini che sono già entrati nell'uso in inglese
