English term

Push him! (imperative)

Non-PRO English to Persian (Farsi) Other Other Vocab Item
Hi,

For example, a child is hesitating because he is afraid of jumping into the swimming pool, so a very naughty boy says to his friend, "Push him!". (Which is, of course, actually very dangerous.)

Many thanks,

Simon

Yes, "him" is a direct object here.
Note from asker:
Main thanks - so is the "him" in "push him" a direct or an indirect object?
