Добрый день!

Я перевожу инструкцию к машинке для стрижки волос.
В тексте встречается термин "drive tip":

To place a new blade on the clipper, ensure that the blade latch is in the correct, upright position, not lying flat against the clipper. If the blade latch is not upright, you will need a flathead screwdriver to pry it up. (Figure 5). Use the flathead screwdriver to pry open the blade latch from the side. Do not attempt to pry the blade latch open from the top as there is a chance the ***drive tip*** could be damaged.

Может быть кто-нибудь знает, что имеется ввиду под "drive tip" и как этот термин лучше всего перевести на русский?
