English term

vasopathy

English to Spanish Medical Medical (general) Medical
But the lack of information about vasopathy, the ability of platelets to bind to collagen and the influence of acetylsalicylic acid remains.

I need to confirm this term means "vasopatía"? or does it have any other meaning?

In order for hemostasis to occur, platelets must adhere to exposed collagen, release the contents of their granules, and aggregate. The adhesion of platelets to the collagen exposed on endothelial cell surfaces is mediated by von Willebrand factor (vWF). Inherited deficiencies

I have serious misgivings about "vasopatía", particularly as I have found absolutely NO refs. to this on the Internet. Certainly there are refs to "vasopathy", without any site defining what this is! I think the term "vasopathy" has a great deal to do
