Hola a todos los colegas :)

Siempre tratándose de una canción de Anne Clarke, aquí tengo este adjetivo. La verdad, no logro encontrarlo en ningún sitio.

He aquí el contexto:

So this is where the future lies
In a beer gut belly
In an open fly
BRILCREMED, acrylic, mindless boys
Punching, kicking, making noise
From the cradle to the city streets

Supongo que se referirá a los "boys". Chicos acrílicos (vaya descripción ácida!) y "brilcremed".

Tengo alguna sospecha sobre el significado pero... alguien podría ayudarme?

It's a tricky one, and David's explanation is correct (my dad used it when he was young!). Brilcream is in fact a kind of hair gel, which is now back in fashion thanks to adverts featuring David Beckham!! I reckon the only way you can translate it is by using "engominados"....

Bril cream es una crema como espuma para el pelo que usaban en los años 50 y 60. Unos chicos así tendrían el pelo \"slicked back\" con esa crema. No sabría yo como traducirlo, pero de todas formas, espero que te sirva de alguna manera.

agree Jack Doughty : And before the fifties. The correct spelling is "Brylcreem", and during the war the RAF were called "The Brylcreem boys" by those who considered they thought too much of themselves.
