English term
7-up
Nov 11, 2008 10:52: Ellen Kraus changed "Restriction (Platinum Only)" from "Platinum Only" to "None"
Non-PRO (1): writeaway
When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Most hotels in resorts play this to entertain children so that parents can go out and enjoy themselves.

Thank you Ioanna, If it is "from the age of" it will have from in front of it
like from 7 up, or from 7 and up. But I do think it is a game as the other ones were fun rides and they will be trying to provide fun times for kids.
Young kids really love this game and are very funny to watch as their little brains try to bend the rules. Never seen kids giggle so much.
most other activities have restrictions from 13 and up.
Thanks agn

: Well, well - never heard of it! My son was refused admission to an English hotel (see my answer) so we spent every single holiday in France

: I have voted non-pro as a protest against the unprofessional way this question is being asked. I don't actually expect /want the question to go down to non-pro (it shouldn't).

Thanks - and I don't want "win" and have this go into the glossary as a translation

: could be?? but as Ioanna is sorting through activities maybe it is the game of 7 up? I think if it was to do with age it would say "From 7 up"

The hotel is somewhere in the hills of the Pyrenees and that's all I know. Believe me I don't want to puzzle you with this question anymore. As Sheila said the word around the list could give us a clue. Thus, I will chose Gary's answer. I would like to thank all of you for your efforts. Ioanna
