English term or phrase:good timing
I'm writing a letter and am stumped about how to indicate that it seems appropriate to hear from someone as I'm getting ready to attend a conference where I met this person last year:
The important thing was that I heard from this person as I was getting ready for the conference-- not the other way around (not an instance of my contacting her). So I think the "coincidence" captures this the best.
