Course Descriptions - Canada
This is in a list of courses within a Canadian college program.
-----
[Course designation 1] Beginning Basket Weaving
[Course designation 2] Advanced Basket Weaving, P.A.: [Course designation 1]
-----
Clearly, it seems to be saying that Beginning Basket Weaving is a prerequisite for Advanced Basket Weaving, but does anyone actually know what the letters stand for? I feel like this is obvious, but it just won't come to me.

And yes, I was looking for the French, but it's always good to have the English included in the archives. :) So, thanks all!"
Discussion
The "course designation" is not something that needs to be translated, it is simply an internal college code for the class like "ENG 102" for an English class. So...
---
BW 1 Beginning Basket Weaving
BW 2 Advanced Basket Weaving, P.A.: BW 1
ENG 100 Beginning English
ENG 101 Intermediate English, P.A.: ENG 100
---
The actual courses are "Mode oral élémentaire" and "Mode oral avancé" but this is not what I need translated.
