French term

poulies à empreintes

French to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering lifting devices
Government order on control and safety measures for lifting devices. This term is in a list of essential components of lifting devices and supports which must be controlled regularly. I've found "rivet pulleys" but would like to be sure this is correct.
Thanks in advance

chain pulley, chain sheave

I suspect this is a pulley for use with chains rather than cables, whose throat is "dogged" with projections which engage with the chain.

grooved pulleys

"empreinte" here means grooved, I believe. Sometimes also applied to the spiral grooves cut into winch drums.
