PMSI

French to English Medical Medical: Cardiology
At the end of a hospital discharge summary after coronary angiography and angioplasty. PMSI is the subheading, followed by a list the patient's history -
"PMSI:
Monopontage en 1980 sur la droite
Ulcère gastro-duodénal - Tabagisme - HTA - Cholestérol
Sténose IVA il y a 4 mois avec pose de stent
Resténose au niveau du stent et dilatation par ballon simple"

I have found PMSI as "Programme de Médicalisation des Systèmes d'Information" but is that relevent here - could it be his computerised medical records?

It looks like PMSI can be either "Programme de M�dicalisation des Syst�mes d'Information" or "Physician Micro Systems Inc.". Thanks to all who helped!

Very interesting, as they retail products for practices *solo and small practices*. Their CCR and TERP, for "hospital discharge summary" integration still "tested".

It turned out to be the trade name of a sort of electronic medical records - Physician Micro Systems Inc.
