I am proofreading this text and localizing it for the UK (from US English), and, in the title, 'Suivi' has been translated as 'monitoring, but then 'surveillance' in the first sentence has been left as 'surveillance':
(title) Suivis renforces/Enquetes de phamacovigilance en cours.
Translated as: Reinforced monitoring/Drug surveillance investigations in progress
(first sentence)
Tous les medicaments disponibles sur le marche....font l'objet d'une surveillance dans le cadre de la pharmacovigilance.'
Translation given: All drugs available on the market...are subject to surveillance in a framework of pharmacovigilance.
I am not happy with the use of 'surveillance' in the first sentence, but the translation of 'suivis' in the title then presents a problem. Would 'validation' be stretching the point too far, or does anyone have a better idea?

I see no problem with using monitoring but the term surveillance is also used by the FDA.
