A decision by a Préfecture granting a company permission to operate a warehouse on an industrial site sets out various rules with which the operator must comply. One of these rules, concerning the "hauteur de la cheminée" reads as follows: "Toutes les dispositions sont prises pour que les gaz de combustion soient collectés et évacués par une cheminée qui débouche a une hauteur permettant une bonne dispersion des polluants ..... La vitesse d'éjection des gaz de combustion *en marche continue maximale* est au moins égale a 5 m/s". I hope I have entered this question in the correct field ....
