French term
libre extension des volumes URG
French to English
Other
According to another translator, this is an abstract architectural concept relating to space and buildings (which he says "volumes" refers to), but I'm struggling to find a good translation because I still don't understand it. The context: "Parcourir 400 metres en notre trottoir roulant ne prend que 2 minutes... Le resultat est la correspondance immediate au sein d'une meme gare ou entre deux stations proches. Unification de l'espace voyageur. Libre extension des volumes, simplification de lecture des espaces voyageurs, suppression des repture de flux et des points d'engorgement." I'd really appreciate any insight! Karen

You can invent some more, this is hollow publicity language. Libre is best translated by open or clear when it refers to space. I may have replied twice, Button Trouble!

Comment: "Thank you! I was really struggling with that one. Your answer makes sense and I agree that it's "hollow" and unnecessarily abstract. Karen"
