Thank you, Gerd. I agree with you - "Pflege" is not the word I would have used in this context (because it is too vague) - but if this is company jargon, what can we do? :-)

neutral sylvie malich (X) : Note to Gerd and Brigitte: "Pflege" is very well the term used in document/program revision/updating/maintenance. Not at all uncommon or company jargon!

I don't really like the sound of "maintenence" in this context......... maybe "management" would fit better here

creation/production and upkeeping - würde ich sagen

maintaining

In den USA hört man öfters "generating and maintaining correspondence, files, etc." aber "generation and maintenance of templates for letters" ist undenkbar bei uns. Dies klingt eher wie "Wartung"! Vielleicht "generating & maintaining".

"Management" klingt m.E. ganz in Ordnung, aber "updating" passt nicht hier.
