Just a guess, Kim.

I have heard in high-tax countries of companies giving high-priced employees 'allowances' for this stuff instead of putting it in the salaray, thereby making it subject to income tax.

Dear Kim,
As others have already mentioned, "Christmas bonus" would work, too. It depends how specific you want to be, depending on how much information your text gives you.
