German term

Rechnungslegung, Zahlungsverkehr

German to English Bus/Financial Law: Taxation & Customs
Dear everyone,
I am just not getting this today! I am really struggling to find the point in this paragraph - is there something suspicious about transactions being entered as payables and receivables, or are they just saying that the accounts were not quite complete? Or am I just completely mixed up?

Thanks for any information!

German term (edited): Accounting sentence! Rechnungslegung, Zahlungsverkehr
Selected

accounts (or bookkeeping) and payment transactions

The (business) transactions had already been almost completely recorded - both in the accounts and via the payment transactions.

They\'re saying that the accounts aren\'t quite complete - that means that the bookings hadn\'t quite been fully made as needed to prepare the financial statements (end of year accounts).

Don\'t know where you\'re getting payables and receivables from....

agree Ted Wozniak : and with a little more work, the accounts could have been complete up to preparation of the financial statements
