German term

methodenkritisch

Discussion

David Williams Nov 22, 2008:
Full stop too soon? I'm not sure it's a case of a missing word, actually. Surely it would make sense if you simply delete the full stop after methodenkritischen, wouldn't it?
Jonathan MacKerron Nov 22, 2008:
in der methodenkritischen Prüfung/Analyse might a word be missing here??

critical

That should do it. It is not necessary to detail with regard to what it is critical; the German language usually has some higher ned of precision than English. So they say 'methodenkritisch' when one would expect, spontaneously, 'kritisch'.
For examples, simply 'Google' "methodenkritisch critical"
