German to English Medical Medical (general)

"ZF-Bucklung rechts."

Now, ZF = Zwerchfell=diaphragm.

But what exactly is Bucklung in DE?

Hi Gisela, Thant was my concern/doubt, too: wasn't sure whether it was just a 'fancy' DE word for elevation, or a true bulging :)

Here's a description of what a "Zwerchfellbuckel" means, to me it suggests a bulging (or hump), not an elevation:

Vorwölbung does not suggest an elevation, but rather a forward/outward bulging.

yes, it would do indeed ! elevated (right of the text says so) dome of the diaphragm. It´s by the way also in the KudoZ glossary.
