Italian to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
Found in a list of terms and conditions for sale... "La merce viaggia sempre a rischio e pericolo del compratore qualunque sia la resa". Not at all sure what that "qualunque sia la resa" means. Can anyone help? Thanks, Sarah.

It means irrespective of the arrangements governing the delivery, i.e. if transport is paid for by, or under the responsibility of, the buyer or the seller.

Thanks. resa has a specific meaning here: e.g. resa = porto franco; resa = porto assegnato; resa = FOB, etc.
