This is the name of a component used in Hirschsprung disease diagnosis.

I know that "hydrochloric pararosaniline" is a chemical used as a 'stain' in this sort of experiment and I'm wondering if "esazonio" could be translated as "hydrochloric".

Full sentence Ciao Antonio! The (rather long) sentence is: La tecnica comprende un substrato enzimatico, alfanaftilacetate e un colorante, pararosanilina esazonio, tamponati ad un pH 7.25.

in italiano esiste "cloridrato di pararosanilina". Se scrivi l'intera frase, forse si capisce meglio :)

Ciao Lizzy, ho cercato il termine esazonio ( per curiosità:) ma non sembra esistere. Sicura che non si tratti di un errore nel testo e che non si riferisca all'esametonio,che ho trovato in associazione alla malattia di Hirschsprung ?
