Making of a historic film
This is a shot of the director of this film about ancient battles and the most ancient king of Rome. He is giving this instruction to two of the actors before cameras start to turn (there is lots going on outside the frame, so he may be talking to other people as well). I think the first phrase is to one actor and after "la cosa" he directs his direction to another actor :
“arriva il primo uccide lui, che taglia la cosa, tu ti fai scudo con lui lo spingi a te, tu fai come scudo umano e vai, vediamola”
One is using the other as a shield?

you use him a shielf and pull him towards you
He is telling actor A to pull (he says push, but pull is more correct!) actor B towards him in order to use him as a shield, to protect himself from the "thing".
Farsi scudo con qualcosa means to use something as a shield.
Afterwards he addresses actor B saying "you act as a human shield".
