Can someone please explain if their is a standard procedure/form for translating/transcribing references for Italian laws as follows.

Articles 8 and 19 of Italian law no. XXX/1996.
Article 9(1)(a) and (b) of Italian law no. xxx/1996.
In the case of Codes (Italian Civil Code, Code of Civil Procedure, etc.) the term "article" is generally rendered as "section".
This is basically standard usage.
