Italian to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law (general)
Italian term or phrase:per l'effetto
The context: "...dichiarare risolto il contratto in essere tra X and Y, per l'effetto."
Thanks to everyone. Alas, my passage is a quote in my document from another document. So, I have no other context to offer, except that this lawsuit is a dispute over breach of contract. In a legal context, is "risolvere" tantamount to dissolving a contract?
